The Central Bank of Ireland opened its doors to their new premises earlier this year in the Docklands of Dublin.
One of the most iconic building projects in Dublin, it houses over 1400 employees and stands 8 storeys tall and with an area of 22,000 sq. m. The building provides a modern workplace at its heart of the building is the atrium, allowing for easy access throughout the building and the floors.
With 250 internal meeting rooms, facilities for visitors, purpose built rooms for large events the building is magnificent inside and out.
With the amount of employees and visitors on the site at anytime, noise levels could have become problems. SDG were thrilled to work with Platt & Reilly in order to provide an acoustics design ceiling system –VoglFuge ® for the project.
VoglFuge ® , acoustic design ceilings meet the highest demands in function and aesthetics. Particularly in highly frequented areas, such ceiling systems serve as sound absorbers, cooling element and eye catcher at the same time. Unlike conventional ceiling solutions, errors in the installation are immediately visible in the finished product and seriously affect the final appearance.
VoglFuge ® system unique joint technology offers maximum reliability for installation and result:
- Quick mounting of panels – “edge-to-edge”
- No more complex aligning of panels
- Quickest possible joint finishing with the unique VoglFuge strip
- Significant time saving due to short installation and drying times
- Maximum crack resistance
- Less dust and moisture
This is where the VoglFuge ® system comes into plays, a system, which achieves acoustic design ceilings quickly, economically and with the most reliability during installation for guaranteed results.
