On the Waterfront

SDG Construction Technology successfully completed the installation of Autex Acoustic Panels at one of Belfast’s most well known Landmarks The Waterfront Hall. The £29.5M extension to the Waterfront Hall and the new extension will more than double the event space to 7,000m2.

Main contractor McLaughlin & Harvey approached SDG Construction Technology for consultation for acoustics solutions required for the new extension.

SDG proposed the Autex Acoustic Panels, as they are an ideal alternative to fabric wrapped frames; they are lightweight, semi-rigid, impact resistant and incredibly durable.

They are manufactured using a minimum of 45% already recycled polyester fibre; made from post-consumer waste. They are available in 25, 50, 75 or 100mm options, offering complete design flexibility with custom colour printing and cutting.

SDG Construction Technology were privileged so have been involved in such a project and were delighted to be able to provide the main contractor, McLaughlin & Harvey with a technical acoustic solution for this prestigious extension to one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic Buildings.
